Winter storm batters Iowa

A big winter storm continues to dump snow and bring high winds to many parts Iowa.  The National Weather Service says Sioux City shattered its previous snowfall record for Feb. 23rd as a new record of 8.2 inches was set.  A wind gust of 62 miles per hour was recorded in Algona while the town of Swaledale near Mason City recorded a gust of 52 miles per hour.  Snow is forecast to continue falling in much of the state on Friday.
