Lawmakers hold minimum wage public hearing

Supporters and opponents are making their case to lawmakers on a bill dealing with local control.  The bill under consideration wouldn't allow cities or counties to set their own minimum wage.  That isn't sitting well with some people who said low-income workers would be hurt by the measure.  Supporters say a bunch of different minimum wages in Iowa hurts businesses and even workers.  The bill also gets rid of the minimum wage hikes approved in Polk, Johnson, Linn and Wapello counties.
