Many Iowa communities are assessing the damage after storms rumbled through the state. Many people lost power and many tornado warnings were issued across the state as storms started moving Monday afternoon into the evening. Spotters reported wind gusts of up to 70-miles-per hour in eastern Iowa and storm damage throughout central Iowa. The National Weather Service is warning of high winds that'll continue today, especially in northern Iowa.
