Collective Bargaining Law Focal Point Of Lawsuit

Iowa's new collective bargaining law is at the center of a new lawsuit involving the board of regents.  The board is being sued by the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Heath Care Professionals' Union.  The union claims a new collective bargaining agreement was struck between them and the board before the law went into effect on February 17th.  The union also says the previously negotiated contract is good until the end of June 2019.
