Jury awards $2.2 million in sexual harassment case

Kirsten Anderson says a massive jury verdict in her favor sends a message to everyone about sexual harassment in the workplace.  A jury awarded anderson $2.2 million Tuesday after a week-long trial where anderson's attorneys presented the harassment she experiences. Anderson sued, saying she was fired as the Iowa Senate Republican communications director in 2013 after complaining about the ongoing sexual harassment.  Anderson sought slightly more than $1.1 million.
