There will be no Republican leadership or staff changes in the Iowa Senate. Republican lawmakers met in Des Moines Friday where Majority Leader Bill Dix turned back a call to step down. Lawmakers also ordered an internal probe of sexual harassment allegations which resulted in a $2 million jury award to a former Senate Republican communications director. Dix says senators will consult with the Iowa Attorney General's office before deciding whether to appeal the jury award.
