ISU responds to racist on-line post

The Iowa State University campus is dealing with a racial controversy. In a recently posted picture on snapchat, three men are gathered around a sign in front of ISU's Black Engineering building and the caption for the picture includes the "N-word." The Iowa State Daily reports freshman Kyle Malaker posted the picture Tuesday. He tells the paper the post was soon deleted and he's sorry for posting it.   In a statement, university officials say the post is "futher evidence of a continuing need to fight racist attitudes from all sources." The school says it in no way reflects the attitudes or values of ISU and is counter to the climate it's attempting to build.
