"Fetal heartbeat" abortion bill moves to House

It's up to the Iowa House to decide what to do with a measure aimes at ending most abortions. The Senate voted 30-20 Wednesday for the measure that bans an abortion if a fetal heartbeat can be detected. A doctor could go to prison for up to five years if an abortion is performed despite the presence of a fetal heartbeat. A medical emergency is the only exception allowed under the bill.
