Iowa Senate GOP to pick new leader

Republicans in the Iowa Senate will choose a new majority leader Wednesday.  Their selection comes just two days after former Majority Leader Bill Dix resigned after being caught on video in a Des Moines bar kissing a female lobbyist.  Gov. Reynolds will set a date for a special election to fill Dix's senate seat.  The governor is expected to schedule an election date in the next several days for the 25th senate district seat, which covers Story, Hardin, Butler, and Grundy counties.
