The Iowa governor is urging President Trump to reject proposals to weaken the Renewable Fuel Standard. In a letter to the president Gov. Reynolds said any effort to undermine the RFS will devaste Iowa farmers and the state's economy. Governors from Missouri, Indiana, Nebraska and South Dakota joined Reynolds in supporting the value of RFS to their states. Reynolds calls the Renewable Fuel Standard the "key pillar" of the farm economy.
