Qurimbach: no budget in sight

An Ames State Senator says he doesn't see a light at the end of the tunnel for passing a new state budget and ending the 2018 Legislatve session.  Democrat Herman Quirmbach says they don't have budget targets as year, and no subcommittee work on the spending plan is scheuduled this week. Qurimbach says he believes senate Republicans are still trying to figure out how they'll pay for a $1.2 billion tax cut before starting on a new budget. The scheduled end of the 100-day legislative session is April 17th.
