Governor Reynolds wants the state to develop a children's mental health service system. Reynolds says she'll sign an executive order to develop a system based on recommendations by the 2018 Children's Advisory Committee. Reynolds says it's vital to identify the early signs of depression and mental health challenges in children and work to prevent the loss of life to suicide--the third leading cause of death in Iowa for children ages ten to 14.
