The Superintendent of Ames schools says lots of conversations are happening about what should be included in a new high school. Tim Taylor says Cedar Rapids-based OPN architects have talked extensively with the school board as well as the people who will use the building--teachers, staff, and students. He says official design documents could take a year to finalize. The district wants to have the new high school ready by fall 2022.
