Ever since my kids have left home and being devoid of grandchildren so far I have never felt the need for holiday decorating. This year I have encouraged it including some window dressing to share with those driving by. After the isolation many have been under during the pandemic "We need a little Christmas" to lift our spirits. Giving my wife a blank check to do her thing we have discovered the number of decorations that have collecting attic dust for the last several years, with the number of items that contain various lights that I am fearful of damaging my retinas. Humbug goes out the window and comfort and joy will permeate our humble abode.
