They say "Blog!" I say "How high!"
Was just listening to The Dennis Miller show, weekdays 9:00-Noon right here on NewsTalk 1430 KASI, and heard him say this in regards to the dust-up about hospitals and schools run by the Catholic chruch being obligated to offer birth control coverage under thier insurance plan. This whole agrument, FWIW, always devolves into a protracted discussion of abortion. If you are a regular listener to the show, you know my thoughts about abortion debates...I know what a dog chasing it's tail looks like; I don't need to describle it on the radio. That being typed...
Miller says, and I'm paraphrasing, "liberals want to make sure the goverment will take care of you, cradle-to-the-grave. They just want to make sure you never get to the cradle." Immediately, I thought "yes, Dennis, conservatives want to make sure you get to the cradle. Of course, they'll abandon you the minute you get there, but..."
So, that happened.
