Mason City swept the Ames High baseball team in a doubleheader Thursday night, 4-2 and 13-1, extending the Little Cyclones losing streak to 10 games. Ames led game 1 2-1 heading into the 7th but the Mohawks rallied for three runs to win it. In game 2, Mason City scored single runs in each of the first 3 innings then exploded for 10 runs in in the 4th. Ames takes a 3-15 record into a doubleheader at Des Moines East Friday night.
