AMES, Iowa (AP) - Former Arizona State basketball player Chanse Creekmur has joined Iowa State's football team.

Creekmur, a native of Marshalltown, Iowa, has walked on to the Cyclones on as a junior tight end.

Creekmur played two seasons for the Sun Devils. He started 13 games a year ago and averaged 4.7 points and 2.3 rebounds a game.

The 6-foot-5 Creekmur was a standout quarterback at Marshalltown High, leading the Bobcats to the state title game as a senior.
