AMES, Iowa (AP) - Iowa State's season opener against Tulsa has been moved from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The Cyclones say the time change was made at the behest of Fox Sports Net and the Big 12. The move is expected to give the Sept. 1 matchup at Jack Trice Stadium more exposure on Fox Sports Net, which is broadcasting the game.
Iowa State will also play at 2:30 p.m. the following week at Iowa. The Cyclones will then host Western Illinois at 7 p.m. on Sept. 15.
