The Iowa State football team's first 2013 Big 12 game will be played on a Thursday night. The Cyclones will host Texas October third. The school announced Thursday that the game would be nationally televised but did not specify who will show the game. The ISU-Texas game will be the Cyclones' second Thursday night game in as many weeks. Iowa State will play at Tulsa on September 26th. The Cyclones open the regular season August 31st, a Saturday, when they host Northern Iowa.
