Woke up this morning to the tragic news in Colorado I was immediately driven to tears. I could not feel more helpless as I remembered the many joyful times I spent with my kids over the years at the movies when the only thing I worried about was buying them too much at the concession stand. I have often said that all children are our children, that the innocence of youth is the one thing we all wo...uld like to regain but with tragedies such as this may be lost forever as we will feel an increasing need to educate them in lifes dangers. I have no doubt many debates will occur over the contributing factors to violence in this country, let's hope they produce results rather than useless rhetoric until the next tragedy. Pull your children close, hug them tightly, I don't care if they're 6 or 60 at least at this moment they are safe and keep in your thoughts those who last night hugged their loved ones for the last time.
