Wow, Turning 65 on Thursday and lots of folks are asking me what my birthday wish is. I find there is no reason to wish for what I already have. First of all family, a beautiful wife who continues to amaze me each and every day. A daughter who makes me proud through what she has already accomplished and what lies ahead. A son who's devotion and love are immeasurable. Brothers and their families wh...o have endured a non ending barrage of Mel emotions and humor with grace. My friends that surround my life every every day whether near or far that put up with me. A community that knows no bounds when it comes to hospitality and caring for all who enter and never fails to impress. Iowa itself for being an exceptional place to live, call me a hick anytime, I'm honored. A country, even in times of turmoil and strife, will do better than survive and continue to be the best on earth. My wish is granted every day thanks to all of you!
