After graduation life became an adventure, including some college, lots of travel and just learning to enjoy life. My education has been diversified to say the least attending several colleges and universities a few courses at a time and ending my formal education at Iowa State.
My occupations have been many, with the last 35 years spent in broadcasting
in one form or another. I have many things I love, my wife Chris, my daughter
Paula and my son Shad. I love also love Ames and Iowa. What I am and what I will
be is always grateful to the people and things that have surrounded my life in
this great part of the country we live in. The are a lot of things I've left out
but I'm sure we'll share more as you continue to visit this site.
Well I'm not faring to well on my brackets, but personally it's not too tramatic for me. I did one from my heart which takes my Cyclones all the way. Then one from statistics which so far has failed me with so many upsets, but really who doesn't love an underdog upset as long as it isn't to your team. This year affords me a couple of Iowa State connections First it's the McDermott Family and Creighton and secondly, despite a less than glorious departure, I still support Larry Eustachy at Colorado State. It's been a while since I was this excited about the Tournament but it helps after all these years to find out my wife is such an enthusiast.
