After graduation life became an adventure, including some college, lots of travel and just learning to enjoy life. My education has been diversified to say the least attending several colleges and universities a few courses at a time and ending my formal education at Iowa State.
My occupations have been many, with the last 35 years spent in broadcasting
in one form or another. I have many things I love, my wife Chris, my daughter
Paula and my son Shad. I love also love Ames and Iowa. What I am and what I will
be is always grateful to the people and things that have surrounded my life in
this great part of the country we live in. The are a lot of things I've left out
but I'm sure we'll share more as you continue to visit this site.
I, like you, am really frustrated with the weather. i'm not known for my prowess in gardening nor ambition to paint or do the normal warm weather chores but gosh at least give me the opportunity to be legitamately be shirking my responsibilities. It doesn't carry near the thrill of sneaking out to do something else when I should be home cutting the grass or weeding. I had to laugh when Chris said" I really am anxious to get out in the yard and plant the garden" These endeavors have been yearly experiments in how fast nature will reclaim its turf. If we get anything out of it by the end of the season gives true meaning to the term "Miracle Grow". I, like my motorcycle will continue to silently weep.
