After graduation life became an adventure, including some college, lots of travel and just learning to enjoy life. My education has been diversified to say the least attending several colleges and universities a few courses at a time and ending my formal education at Iowa State.
My occupations have been many, with the last 35 years spent in broadcasting
in one form or another. I have many things I love, my wife Chris, my daughter
Paula and my son Shad. I love also love Ames and Iowa. What I am and what I will
be is always grateful to the people and things that have surrounded my life in
this great part of the country we live in. The are a lot of things I've left out
but I'm sure we'll share more as you continue to visit this site.
I don't know about you but a couple of rain free days sure make a difference on how I see the world. It's really rather phenomonal how much easier it is to smile and as my wife tells me take the grumpy angry look off my face. A night on the patio with the smoker loaded with ribs, birds singing, rabbits romping and sqirrels chattering was just the cure I needed for some spring cabin fever. Another major factor was the mosquitoes were not feasting on me. Here's to many more of these kinds of days for all of us.
